First English edition 1974 of David Hamilton "La Danse" is a photography essay about ballet dancers at work and at rest. It features dancers from Maurice Bejart Ballets, the Bolchoi, the Royal ballet, the Vienna State Opera ballet Co and icons such as Rudolf Nurejev , prima ballerinas and petits rats as well. It is a beautiful collectors book that all ballet and photography lovers will appreciate. It is in good condition, no page missing, no rip, no tear, and it has a protective transparent jacket as well as a dust jacket, but the opening page is slightly detached (see 3rd photo) otherwise in very good condition and it is a high quality (William Morrow) book..
