I can say that when I first measured myself, for sizing purposes, My measurements were very close to what they say the size 18's are for La Femme dresses. If I had not lost 25+ pounds before finally taking a chance on ordering online I think It would have fit perfectly. (Note I did not measure my thinner self) I now have a size 16 and it fits everywhere but length and and top of shoulders need to be altered just a little. For comparison. I fit comfortably in a ladies size 12 pant and 12/14 tops.
