This is hard to describe! It's very stretchy, so it doesn't qualify as shapewear and is quite comforable. It fastens with hooks and eyes in the front - you can put it on without help. (Takes me forever to put on a bustier with back fastenings.) Cups are lightly padded. I bought it at Neiman Marcus quite a while ago. Front measurement is 12 inches. A La Perla size 4 is equivalent to a 38 C-D.
