This is a La Regale brand black metal mesh / chainmail clutch. While its year of manufacture is unknown, it is believed to be a fairly recent La Regale piece and NOT vintage; just a vintage-inspired style. This black-on-black bag is composed of faux leather trim, a silky black inside lining, and thousands of little black metal squares that create the chainmail exterior. Bag measures approximately 10" L x 8" H x 1" W and was made in China. Hardware is only two inside snaps and they are silvertone. There is no strap drop to speak of - this is a clutch / handbag with no shoulder strap. As for condition, it is stunning with no tears, scratches, missing mesh, etc. However, it must have been previously stored in a slightly bent position, as the top faux leather of the bag is ever-so-slightly bent at the moment. You can see this in some of the pictures - so please look closely. Save for this minor flaw, the bag is Like New.
