@brasscupcake 8 inches wide x 4 1/2 high from under the clasp. The tassels are about 2+ inches

@brasscupcake sorry to say your phone will not fit. The inside is a satin/ silk with a small side pocket. The handle will not go over your shoulder, it is hand held.
