qtpiegirl Hi there. Sorry for the delay. It's difficult to get a true armpit to armpit measurement as the fabric of the sleeves is the same piece as the fabric of the bodice. The sleeves are not sewn onto the bodice. But, I did measure from the side seam under the arm and across the back to the other side seam under the arm. That measurement is 20". I tried to do same in front but that won't be at all accurate as the fabric blouses out for the breasts. I hope this is helpful.
