Too big there will be a lot of crumple (if you know what I mean). I’m an XS so Indian free size is usually very big

@sujatha1969 hi there in response to your question the skirt has a drawstring no measurement.. I pulled it to the smallest size which gives it a slight gathering and measures 22 inches. I. Check the picture the tag shows you. The skirt is quite beautiful. I hope this was helpful..Vivien🌹
