This is a very pretty 17 inch porcelain doll designed by Margaret Anne for Lady Anne Dolls, Inc. Williamsburg, VA. She is a full body pose-able porcelain doll. Her pretty face is framed with blonde bangs and long curls that fall down her back. She is wearing full length Colonial dress of of emerald crushed velvet with a cream inset of lace ruffles flowing to form a “V” in the frown of the dress adorned with a pink rose at the peak. The sleeves end in the same cream ruffle lace. She wears ruched lace cap with a pink rose accent that ties under her chin. Her dress is removable with hook and eye closures in the back and she wears separate pantaloons and a hoop/crinoline. She wears knee high socks and velvet black buckle shoes. She is embossed on her back with “Lady Anne Dolls, Inc. Williamsburg, VA”. She is stamped on her neck with “Margaret Anne, 109-500”. The dress has the original label that reads “Lady Anne Dolls, Inc. designed by Margaret Anne”. There is no box or certificate, only the identification on the doll herself and the dress.
