A pair of Earrings designed by Ilias Lalaounis. Beautiful and rare geometric pieces, created in Greece by the jewelry house of Lalaounis, back in the 1970's. These gorgeous clip earrings has been carefully crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with textured and polished finish. Suited at the reverse with omega backs for fastening clips. The option of posts for pierced ears can be easily added. They have a combined weight of 20.6 Grams and a measurements of 23.5 mm by 26 mm (0.93 X 1.02 Inches). Both are stamped, with the maker's mark, the gold assay hallmark and signed. "LALAOUNIS A10 750 GREECE". Literature: Ilias Lalaounis, Metamorphoses, book, in the Classical and Hellenistic Greece chapter, Pp-99-115 for very similar examples. Collateral: They are accompanied by a presentation jewelry box. Condition: The overall condition of this earrings is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold.
