This open-knit sweater by Blue Tassel, originally from Anthropologie, is a great transitional piece. The fiber is a poly/rayon blend but actually feels convincingly like cotton. Really lightweight and airy. Great for a warmer climate when you want to dress for fall, but the temps are still summery.
