sat67 @belizma Hi! This coat is very warm, but not as heavy as you might expect from a coat that's good for fairly cold climates. It's actually a little surprising how light it is. Shiny is a hard question. It's definitely a matte black versus metallic or patent, but the nature of the material predisposes it to a little more shine than say canvas or cotton. Hope this helps!
