Lands End Women's Safari Jacket 1980's. Size 6-8.

This is a rare, true Safari jacket. It's stylish & it gets the job done. Pay special attention to all the interior details and pockets. The vintage 1980's safari jacket by beloved American outfitter Lands End in classic khaki. 100% nylon for water resistance (without sacrificing a lightweight canvas cotton feel). It features plenty of other charming safari-style details like: inner drawstring that allows for gathering the waist for a more tailored fit; pleated button-flap chest pockets; Button flap hip pockets. One hip pocket has a zippered inner pocket. Both button-flap hip pockets have side-entry pockets behind the flap pockets for having a place to rest your hands. The shirt-style, adjustable 2-button cuffs can also be rolled up and buttoned higher on the sleeve with an interior button tab. (See pic) The shoulder has stylish epaulets that button. Inside the jacket are interior pockets and a large game pouch or a pouch for holding maps etc. This coat is water resistant due to nylon content but looks and feels like cotton. It has all of the extra buttons that came with it! If you know this jacket, you know that's super rare! Excellent condition, true utilitarian Safari jacket. This is an 80's size small (6-8), so it's roomier than today's size small, but the waist is adjustable.
