@jeanniee917 sorry I took so long. The dress is very stretchy material so there’s no elastic in waist but there r ties to make it as fitted or not fitted as u want. The dress is ~54” long. Hope that helps. It is a great dress. I have it in all black and have owned the black one for at least six years and I have worn it several times and it still looks brand new and I get compliments every time I wear it even with my arms showing which I do not love to do Any more questions please let me know 😊
