How bad are the soles of these boots truly?

@lgr55 so I’ve only worn these maybe 6x. The soles on the bottom look much worse than they their condition is.

@dogdaysofthrift Thank you for clarifying this! So helpful! I could use help in determining whether the 8 is the right size. I tried a 7.5 hearing that these run a half size large but they were much too tight. I am typically an 8. Can you share anything that might be helpful please. Appreciate your input.

@lgr55 I wear a 7 or 8 normally depending on the show and these fit true to size for me. I have worn thick and thin socks with not a problem. They are very comfortable. If you normally wear anywhere between a 7-8 these will be just fine. If you were closer to a 8-9 then you might be able to wear them with thick socks. I hope this helps!

*might not be able to wear thick winter socks but they should fit fine with normal socks. They have a roomy toe as well.

Knowing these are a 7.5 and how my feet fit, and you normally wear an 8 shoe, I would shop for a 8.5 in this model! I hope this helps.
