Large Collectable Sterling Silver Pendant-Vintage & Marked

Large folk art sterling silver Collins cross, marked. The verse on the large bail is “amor omnia vincit” which means “ love conquers all” in Latin. The creatures on the four corners of the cross are the symbols of the 4 evangelists, while the lamb at the center symbolizes Christ; both a wonderful symbol and an aesthetic piece. Large bail. A lot of detail! Weight is 67.90 g.; from Rebecca Collins. Small figures are sheep and sword (Christ), lion (St.Mark), Eagle (St.John), angel (St.Matthew) and bull. The lovely cross represents the four evangelist and/or the four authors of the Gospels, as stated above. Clover design in the middle. Dimensions are 3 7/8“ x 2 7/8“. Marked "Collins" and "Sterling". Very unique and special; bought at a fine arts auction. Downsizing my collection.
