I mean, I guess you could charge $20,000 if you want but why is this $1900+? I have a big one exactly in lapis, but a carved fish in sterling silver also I bought for $25. I mean if it was signed by Jesus I guess, but there’s no makers mark. Help me to understand this pricing please :)

@stephanithomps look at the photos and read the description and you'll see the makers mark.

Yes, I understand all that but it’s not even confirmed. And it’s not like it’s Tommy Singer or some thing. On top of that they don’t carve those. They buy those already carved and then put them in silver. Like I said, you can charge what you want but it’s tops $150. I guess you’re running a museum & not selling things? Ok, Have a great day.

I love this! I wish I could buy it but out of my price range. I have a bracelet with that same Indian in a different stone with some other stones around it. This would be great with it!

@stephanithomps I agree. It’s crazy! Super inflated price. I wish them luck.

@stephanithomps If you Don't like the price Don't buy it If you really think this is only worth $150 Good luck finding anything like this for that price

@juliemartin1 you can go to any pow wow or trading post. First Nations artists would appreciate the business and won’t charge you $2000 for a pendant.

@stephanithomps I'm a silversmith and I specialize in Native American jewelry, and I was stunned when I saw the asking price too! The exact thing sells for between $25 and $60 at most! You're right! Lapis isn't an expensive stone as it is, and anyone who got a B+ in high school art could have carved a Chief like this in an afternoon!🙄

@schwabm1966 Now that’s was a great laugh- thanks for that. Such a great personality. I’d have to agree with all you said. Didn’t set out to disrespect to the seller- I asked a real question. However the pricing is not respectful or realistic. Neither here nor there, a cool piece yet still it sits.

@schwabm1966 —>I just googled ‘carved lapis sterling’ & ranging from $25-$225 on this same site! Oh well 😉
