Large Vintage Malachite and Sterling Silver Bear Claw Post Earrings

Although these bear claw earrings are large, they are hollow which makes them comfortable to wear. The design is a traditional bear claw motif with rich green malachite as an accent stone. The design and craftsmanship suggest that these are Native American but as they are unsigned I am unable to pinpoint the origin. The earrings are about 1 5/16 inches long and 1 1/8 inches wide The weight per pair is 9.1 grams Post earrings for pierced ears Hallmarked Sterling on one post (probably both but too faint to read) No maker's mark. Tests positive for sterling silver. In very good vintage condition
