Large vintage Ikat Indonesian Sumba tapestry Possibly from the Sumba Island region Featuring two long panels hand-stitched together and finished with woven banded edges at the top and bottom. There is a gradual curvature at the corners. Lovely intricate animal and human figure pattern. The blur affect on this piece is absolutely phenomenal. This is one of the best pieces of Indonesian Ikat and was made by a truly skilled artisan. Likely 20th century In overall excellent preowned vintage condition Seems to have a few very minor spots / residues and very light dirt.
