Larimar, Australian Opal Copper Pendant

This Larimar is wire wrapped in oxidized copper wire. I sped up the tarnishing process of the copper to darken and add depth to this pendant. This pendant was definitely a venture of wrapping out of my comfort zone. I think it turned out to be unique and beautiful. The blue is a natural Larimar from the dominican republic. The little stone off to the side is an old stock 80’s australian opal. It shimmers beautiful rainbow colors. The colors compliment the larimar very nicely.
