This is a beautiful pair vintage Sterling Silver pierced, dangle larimar stone earrings. I love larimar and its beautiful color! Very soft sky blue mixed with white wisps. These are oval shaped cabochons set into sterling silver. They have an ornate filagree setting that is very pretty. Lightweight and comfortable to wear. They close with leaver backs. Pretty blue beauties to dangle from your ears! Larimar was discovered in 1916 by a Spanish priest but no mining was done. In 1974 the American Peace Corps Volunteers rediscovered the stone on the beaches of Barahona.
