Is it some what fitted in the chest area? Or would it require a bra to be worn underneath?

@mgibney59 it is somewhat fitted. I was able to wear it without a bra because of the dart placement in the chest area. The darts give it some additional structure and also conceal the nipple because of where they hit on your bust. The halter also gave my girls a little added lift so they looked perky and not flat/squished. I am a 34C and wore it without a bra. But you could always wear it with a nude strapless bra if you feel you need additional support or coverage.
