@denicecaroline Hi there! Thank you for your question. The shell is made from 58% cashmere and 42% wool. The lining is 100% polyester. The loose threads are from the nature of the way the coat was made, not from use. The loose threads are the buttons are to keep the buttons raised so they can be buttoned more easily, but they do seem to easily come undone. I was messing with the top button before posting photos, and that is why it came undone, and I had to sew it back on myself.
