cjfall @anna4969 The upper of the boot is everything that covers the foot area, that part is leather. So the part that covers the leg from the ankle is a man made material that looks like leather. I hope this helps and thank you for your interest and questions 😊

cjfall @anna4969 no problem, nothing worse than buying something that doesn’t fit right. Rather answer questions than have a unhappy buyer. The top of the boots are 7” wide laying flat. I have some pretty thin legs and if I press my leg towards the front of the boot I have about an inch gap on the backside of the calf. They are not hugging the top of my leg, but they are not for a wide calf. I’m always open for offers if you think they might work out for you!
