reshopluxe @mercerisle a size 40 would fit a American size 9. All of my sales are final. So I would definitely make sure you are comfortable with European sizing if you’ve never worn it before.

mercerisle @reshopluxe I’m plenty familiar with Europe sizing but it’s still different from brand to brand, and even within a brand from style to style. I have never tried Le Monge Beryl shoes before so I’m trying to get as much info as possible. I normally wear a 9.5 M in most brands, but in Stuart Weitzman a 10. I wear a 10.5 in Everlane’s Day Glove Loafer, and 10.5 in most Bruno Magli shoes. In Gucci, normally a 39.5 or 40, and Zara a 40 or 41…so you can see I’m sort of all over. Thoughts?

mercerisle I’m trading messages with another seller who has these shoes in a size 40 in a different color and she’s telling me that they run very LARGE. She says she’s normally a size 10 and that her size 40 is too big for her. You say the 40 is for a size 9. I’m so confused now!

reshopluxe @mercerisle theoretically, European 40 fits a size 9 American. However, shoes all run differently, especially European. This particular shoe runs narrow. I do not know if it runs big? None of my customers have said anything. These are Boutique overstocks so if you wear an American nine, perhaps you should try a 39.

mercerisle @reshopluxe thank you for checking out what you could find on sizing. I’m normally a 9.5 so I’m still not sure what size I would be in these. It sounds like a 40 would work, but I don’t want to be stuck if the fit is wrong. 😩
