Dare2B different! This style was very popular back in the "roaring twenties." So back to the future as we approach the 2020's. The brown leather has a bit of burgundy cast to it. A distinguishing feature of this style is the pleated or "swing shoulder" construction on the back for ease of movement. The sown in "belt" at the waist (lower back) was part of the style, and along with epaulettes and the Cargo style front pockets presented a military look. Chest size is 42, length 32", sleeves 26"

My dad Stan Parker designed and oversaw production of this coat at Brier’s. He died when I was 16 in 1995. I would love my husband to have this coat so he would be connected to my dad, who he never met. Is there any way we could cut a deal? I don’t have the money to pay what you are asking. Any deal you could cut me would be so appreciated because ... I want my husband to have some part of my dad.

As a successful seller on poshmark, you know they will have their 20% cut. I appreciate the quality and design of this coat by your father and would love for your husband to have it. Just the top grade and condition of the leather should price it higher, so I believe $99 is already discounted as much as I can give. If you just buy it outright, you should have it this weekend.

It’s sometimes hard to tell in pictures. In person would you say the leather looks more brown or more burgundy?

@sethgoodfellow I looked at the coat with an LED flashlight, and I'd call the color a nice milk chocolate brown. As you suggest, in a different light, or light level, it might take on a slight burgundy cast.
