Leather Western bag

The bag is new & never worn, however it’s been put away for quite some time. When taking the bag out to check it over, I’ve noticed stains on the bag. When I lifted up the front flap, I saw that the suede underneath has transferred / dyed the front of the bag. I’m assuming it’s because the flap was pressing down on the bag & within time, it became discolored. I also have no idea what the white patches are in last pic. The back of the bag has staining too. If the flap is down, you can’t see the stains.
