@lorilinares Hi Lori, I can't tell from a picture very easily. I'd have to use a jeweler' loupe and also weigh by size for density to get clues. There are so very many unless you have the receipt indicating stone type, it's very difficult to determine unless you're a geologist. I've taken gem classes but I'm not that good 😉. I wish I could help. If you truly want to know, I'd suggest seeing if you can meet up with a college professor in your town that teaches geology. Maybe they'd know quickly and not charge you. Don't take it to a jeweler. They would charge you way more than the amount you are asking for the necklace. Typically I've paid $75+ for stone estimates but I take in tanzanite, emeralds, 100 carat museum quality amethyst etc so it's worth it to have the written estimates for insurance purposes.

@rozsingh Thank you so much! I paid 50 for it at a boutique, so I guess if someone buys it and really wants to know then they can take it :) they did tell me when I bought it, lol but I just can't seem to remember....as I grow WISER
