I do not want to give this up. I took it to my tailor who threw her hands in the air and then threw a bobbin at me while proclaiming “ WHISKEY, JUST LET THEM GO!!!” Obviously I’m trying to get her downsize my favorite pieces. But going from a 22 to a 10 with “a piece so easily replaceable” was exasperating to her so here we are. I pulled the lacing out as the faux suede wasn’t in great condition and looked like it was going to start to break down. You can replace it with ribbon or cording or even a shoelace if you’re that punk rock.
