edith1712 @lbelvinc sorry was at. Birthday party most of the day. I am a 8.5/9 and the 9 fits good. It depends on your foot. If you are a small 8.5 I would say no.

edith1712 @lbelvinc 8 is about 10 inches long and the widest part of the foot is about 3.5 inches the 9 is 10.30 inches long and about 3.60 inches wide
