Leroy Neiman “Moby Dick Assualting the Pequod” Artist Proof produced in 1978. This was the Artist Proof used to produced a limited number of 300 Serigraph. I was given this by my mother whose husband passed away. It did not have a COA/LOA and there was nothing on the frame which was damaged so I removed the print and it has been stored in a tube. Since this has been rolled up in order to frame it will have to be flattened by the person that frames it. I see many of the 300 serigraphs selling between 2500-4500 on average from galleries or public offerings. I am asking 1000.00 for this which is much lower than most I see online. Even if you have this framed you are still getting a great deal on this Neiman. Serigraph on heavy art paper titled, "Moby Dick Assaulting the Pequod" by famous Modern Artist LeRoy Neiman, that comes with a gallery certificate guaranteeing its authenticity. It is from one of his most renowned series, Moby Dick Suite, as NEiman used daring vision and his genius combined to recreate the essence Herman Melville's story. The piece is signed in the lower right and is from the very scarce edition of only 300, (numbered 7 of 300). Additionally, the artwork is of impressive craftsmanship and size, archival matted to approximately to 21" x 30", with the frame dimensions approximately 30" x 41".
