First, a little history: Les Bernard jewelry was founded in 1963 by Barnard Schapiro. He was the son of Harold Shapiro, founder of Vogue jewelry. The name is a combination of Bernard Shapiro and his designer partner, Lester Joy. Les Bernard also produce jewelry for others, including Mary McFadden, James Galanos, and for actors in the TV show “Dynasry”, that closed in 1996.
These fabulous gold plated earrings start with two ribbed, brushed gold three-quarter hoops, measuring 3 cm diameter, and 1 cm wide.
Earrings are clip on, and in excellent condition, like new.
The fine craftsmanship of these superior earrings is of a standard no longer available in costume jewelry today.
