just_poshing_2 @muta9988 I'd like to know advice from some Postmarks ... how did they feel about selling a large quantity of items to a person that has no listings if anybody could give me advice I appreciate it

muta9988 @loriscloset50 Great question! If you have a tracking number and it says it has arrived they have 3 days to accept items. I always wonder though what if they say they never recieved them but did- or say that nothing arrived in the actual box (but I bet you could argue with original box weight- per post office though). Perhaps safe guard yourself from this by taking plenty of pictures for yourself of items in box, the post office where you sent, amd receipt of sending. And I would not exchange info by email as I think it would be easier for Posh to support your fraudulent claim if their is a paper/comment trail here on Poshmark. I always wonder though what if someone closes their bank account before three days and keeps the item yet never accepts it in order to free the $$ to the seller

laineyskye The charge does come thru your bank account before you even receive the item or accept it, and I believe they release the payment to the seller after 3 days whether you accept it or not. Hope that helps! :)

just_poshing_2 @muta9988 thank you for your answers It is a very good idea to take photos if need be. I'm also curious about something else. Does anyone know why PM changed the return address to the sellers address? I've been reading lately about a lot of concerns regarding this. I too have a concern about this. People that order now know our names & addresses & can read about seller by their listings about themselves . ( I don't have one but many do). So they now know a lot about us. Has anyone ever contacted PM with this concern that you know about? I'd personally prefer it to go back to PM's address. But I was just curious . Thanks for your help earlier I appreciate your ideas.

just_poshing_2 @muta9988 I don't know it's just something I'm not comfortable with & I've read neither are others . If you get any input just keep me posted on these opinions. Enjoy your night & thanks again! ❤❤

laineyskye No problem! I understand being leery of anyone with no listings, but some people (like myself) just want to add to their closet and handbag collections. I personally donate all of my gently used clothing to either the Salvation Army or to Goodwill. That may change now that I have this app! :)

muta9988 @loriscloset50 yeah I am too when someone wants to purchase my items with an empty closet. Little fishy.

just_poshing_2 @muta9988 hi again, do you know if there is any way someone can write on your wall under a listing to hack into to your PM account or are we secure with that?
Apr 24Reply
muta9988
muta9988 @loriscloset50 I have not heard of this. And I would think not. But that would be a great question to email PM. I can't see how it would be possible but people can do crazy things!

just_poshing_2
just_poshing_2 @muta9988 yes, I would hope not. I have a buyer with no listing that insists she bought something but it seems like she is just trying to keep a conversation going. But I would think not either . I just logged out for a bit & I haven't heard back. So glad this site was made. I enjoy hearing others & yours opinion on things to be sure PM stays safe. Any further word on the "email" girl ?
