Not from the 80s, the model is just the "501 z 1980s". I bought them new one year ago. They are a beautiful deep blue rigid selvedge, 14oz. Worn a handful of times, never washed. I like them because they're a little higher waisted than regular 501s. Just very similar to the STF 501s I already have so I figured I don't need them.
