This collection celebrates the designs of Althea McNish, showcasing the Trinidadian designer’s unique eye for graphic, multi-layered prints in vividly tropical-infused shades. For Tepeaca Study, Althea was inspired by the designs of African beads that she saw during a visit to the British museum. The outcome is a joyful, lively stripe reminiscent of a colourful beaded textile. The original was created for Liberty in 1960. Liberty Fabrics have been at the cutting edge of design and decorative arts since 1875. The designs are hand-painted by the in-house London studio team, then printed at the Liberty Printing Mill.
