The name of the print is Malvaceae Hibiscus....reminds me of a Cezanne painting.
Returning home to Trinidad, Althea was inspired to create Malvaceae Hibiscus – a large-scale furnishing design with pops of colour and bold stripes. Originally created for Liberty in 1958, the floral pattern has been translated into a fashion print for this collection.
So many ways to wear a skinny scarf!
Head wrap, neck scarf/bow, belt-loop bow, wrist bow/wrap, jacket bow, hand bag handle decor/bow, hat band...
Liberty Fabrics have been at the cutting edge of design and decorative arts since 1875. The designs are hand-painted by the in-house London studio team, then printed at the Liberty Printing Mill in Italy .
