No stains on the outside of the bag (there is one small mark on the inside that is smaller than the top of a pencil eraser-I haven’t tried to remove it, but that’s the ONLY one!) No odor (other than the smell of leather; this bag has been kept in a non-smoking, pet free home [no pets for the last 2.5 years, despite my username]) No damage. I only used this bag about 7 times after I got it

aanzano Can the bag be worn on the shoulder without the attachable shoulder strap? there are no measurements for the width of the existing handle of the bag
