Liforme Cosic Moon Yoga Mat Color: Dusk Blue This mat was used while waiting for replacement from company. Purple alignment lines are “worn” due to defect on this one mat. Used in-studio & for practice in a salt cave (salt residue on black side of mat). Treated with care. Only cleaned with Liforme Yoga Mat Cleaner. Any streak marks are from recent cleaning & will fade. Great value if worn lines dont bother you! Mat bag included.

ctinninis Hi there. Weird question. Does the salt residue on the black side come off? Does it affect anything in terms of holding the mat in place? In other words, is it “just a mark” on the black side??

ctinninis Will the remainder of the purple line come off? Did customer service say why this happened? I don’t mind the small fading but do they think other lines/areas will also fade?? Or just that one spot?

seasnsunsets @ctinninis Hi! The salt doesnt damage the mat or cause it to be slippery on a regular surface. Its just “a mark”. I can try wiping it off with a damp sponge & let you know or post a pic when it dries :)

seasnsunsets When I called customer service they believed the line wasnt “sealed”. I tried rubbing it off but when I got the replacement, I put it away and forgot abt it. The other lines have been fine. I have other mats from Liforme & this hasnt happened to any other mat I have.

seasnsunsets The other lines on the mat are sealed and you dont feel them when you rub your hand over the mat.
