I've never bought a suit or a suit jacket could you tell me what s,m,l it would compare to?

@hunnybunches14 my boyfriend wears a Med/Large and this fit him well but maybe a little on the big side. This is what I found via Google for the suit size. I hope that helps.
Size 40 and Size 42 suit jackets are considered Medium (M). A size 44 suit jacket is considered Large (L). Size 46 and Size 48 suit jackets are considered Extra Large (XL). Size 50 and Size 52 suit jackets are considered Extra-Extra-Large (XXL)
