Light Cotton Black Midi Dress w/ Colorful Embroidery

Beautiful! This dress gives Mexican vibes with it’s colorful embroidery! Black, very lightweight cotton fabric (which is pretty transparent in the bodice), bell sleeves and an extra full skirt. Even though the fabric is lightweight the garment is pretty heavy because of the fullness of the skirt. The tag is Joseph Magnin, but I am not sure the tag is actually authentic to this garment, since it seems shoddily stitched in. This garment was purchased as a Halloween costume (Frida Khalo) but also works well for Day of The Dead, though it is beautiful for s special occasion. Era: Vintage, possibly 60s
