msrogo Hi there- can you please tell me the waist measurement? I have these in an 8 but they’re much too big so I don’t know if going down one size is enough. Lilly sizing is so all over the place!

msrogo @vvavalosvv that is so crazy! What person who wears a size 4 wears even a 30” waist, let alone 33!! And this is why Lilly is so frustrating!! I have a drawer full of buttercup (and Callahan) shorts. Most fit me perfectly. And I know to get a 6 or an 8 depending on the fabric (the 100% cotton run smaller than the 2 or 3% Lycra and the knit stretch run biggest. So by that scale, I should be a 6 in these. Yet even the 4 is too big!!

poshmark_foryou @msrogo Exactly, it's too big for that size. That is why it is better to measure the waist to know the real measurement.

msrogo @vvavalosvv yes thank you for being candid. While most people are, Ive seen too many that say, “I’m sorry - I don’t have a measuring tape.” And if you don’t know better, you buy something bc it’s your size only to find that it runs huge or crazy small. Almost every time I’ve bought without asking - when it’s a style I’m not familiar with (even after buying hundreds of items, I still get so excited about a bargain that I buy without thinking), I end up with something that doesn’t fit.
