Lily Ashwell silk floral dress

Beautiful 100% silk dress from now defunct brand Lily Ashwell. Maroon with pink and white floral print. Ruffles around the neckline. Short sleeve with shirred detail. Long ties that wrap around the dress. Zipper down the side for ease of putting on and taking off. V neck. One issue that I’ve had with this dress is that the ruffles stand out in a weird way so I always just safety pinned them down to the dress as I have in these pictures - I’ve never tried ironing them though so that might help. Has a beautiful vintage inspired style, seems like it would be lovely for a garden party Mini dress (I’m 5’4” and it hits me a little lower than mid thigh). Size M - I am typically a medium, size US 4-6 / 28” waist and this fits me well. Measurements lying flat: Total length (shoulder to hem): 35” Pit to pit: 17” Waist: 14”.
