Limoges Pale Pink Genuine Alabaster Trinket Dish Hand Carved and Engraved Floral

Check out this lovely vintage Limoges, pale pink, hinged, hand carved genuine alabaster, teardrop trinket dish, made in Italy. Hand painted / engraved floral and gold metal accent trim. This beautiful little dish is perfect for storing small jewelry or keepsakes and for those who love delicate little boxes and appreciate decorative collectibles. The sticker on the bottom of this dish is the original. This pretty little dish was designed in the Victorian style and produced in the mid 20th century. Note: Alabaster is a natural and very porous stone. It bruises easily and requires very delicate care. As you can see in the pictures this little dish has a few little white bruises on the edge which is not unusual for its age. Yes it does show some signs of use but is in very good condition considering its age. To keep it in lasting condition alabaster should not be cleaned with water or other cleaning supplies. It will eventually soak in the water and possibly stain. It can be cleaned easily and safely with White Spirits which is easily affordable and found in most stores.
