Take a seat at the table of kings and greats of this world with our historic tableware, identical reissues of original pieces from the 18th and 19th centuries. The Ancienne Royale Manufacture is itself a little piece of French history. The Limoges factory, founded in 1737, was initially dedicated to the manufacture of pottery. In 1771, the first pieces of 'hard' porcelain with the stamp 'Limoges' were produced. It was then placed under the protection of the Count of Artois, brother of Louis XVI, and became Manufacture Royale de Limoges. The Ancienne Manufacture Royale de Limoges, sold during the Revolution and then taken over by different owners, joined the Bernardaud group in 1986. In collaboration with the most prestigious national and international museums, Bernardaud thus contributes to keeping alive the pleasures of the table and to preserving the know-how associated with an extremely rich heritage, which illustrates the art of home life. L'Ancienne Manufacture Royale produces all its historic models in its workshops in Limoges, according to the strictest quality requirements.
