Hello Darlings! I am attempting a 4 season capsule closet project so I'm planning more regular closet purges. tropikel I love the idea of a capsule wardrobe and have read a lot about them. Pinterest has a lot of pictures of them. I would love to try to just have a capsule but have not tried hard enough to make one. Best of luck with yours!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉

jzhaowow @laorganizer it's so hard especially for 4 seasons! I'm trying my best and starting with the cleaning out process. Yea Pinterest is great but I spend more time pinning great ideas rather than actually using them. Poshmark is really helping me streamline ... with the exception of some really fabulous vintage finds on here I've really been really good at getting my closet down to what I actually use.

jzhaowow @laorganizer I've still got so much more I need to part with because I really do want to get all 4 seasons in the closet (I find that if I can't see it I won't look for it and having too many options isn't necessarily a good thing). I do love shopping so much but I've got to pare it down so each item is truly treasured. Also it's made me look at everything in my home differently too. I'm really loving having so much less, knowing everything has a place and a purpose

Attempting a capsule closet has been something I wanted to do for a long time I'm still light years away 😬 but Posh has definitely helped me get closer to what I want my closet to be. Been slacking a lot lately trying to enjoy these last summery days in the city and yet at the same time I can't wait for sweaters, boots, and coats season (fall is my fav 😍).

jzhaowow @psychobunnyc 1 thing that I love and I think you will too is how you can connect with other poshers and get to know their style and personality through their individual listings and closet aesthetic. In turn it's also helped me re-evaluate my own personal closet and forced me to keep on "curating" until I've got it down to my core items (I've actually been doing this with my whole place too).

jzhaowow @psychobunnyc Slowly but steadily I've been purging my actual closet of a lot of fast fashion and am more focused on what I like to wear, how I like to shop, and how much happier I am with less that's is actually so much more because I love and use everything in it.

lisaabv I live in 4 seAson area as well. This is exactly what I am attempting. Summer to fall and winter to spring are very tricky here in the foothills of Appalachian mountains. Sometimes freezing in am and 80 during day and vice versa lol!!

jzhaowow @lisaabv I have so many items in my closet and I realized that I kept reaching for the same things all the time. The process of slimming down my closet has been really fun because I’m actually starting to try on all of the forgotten items and figuring out if I never knew how much I loved them or why I’ve always hated them.

jzhaowow @lisaabv It was difficult at first to give stuff up but now I’m a lot happier after I’ve given most of the items their last hurrah and sometimes their last guffaw as I look in the mirror and think wow what was I thinking lol. Keep me posted on your journey too.

mastathrifter @jzhaowow Hi! I am from NH and am curious what this whole capsule closet thing is about. 😄 Currently in the middle of a blizzard actually. Tomorrow I bet it'll be sunny and 75 degrees lol. Anyway, I liked reading about how you like having less items in your closet so you value them more. That is so true!
