Lladro 1970 13" Lady with Parasol Retired

Vintage porcelain Lladró, Lady with Parasol, by Vicente Martinez. #4879. Circa: 1970 retired.  13”H x 6”W x 4”D. WT=1.75 lbs. Sculpture figurine is in excellent condition but in her travels, she lost her pink parasol and hence, the lower price.  ABOUT LLADRO: Lladró was founded in 1953 by three brothers, Juan, José, and Vicente Lladró, in their home village of Almàssera near Valencia. Today, a new generation leads the company — including 3 of the original founders’ 10 children — Juan, Mari Carmen, and Rosa Lladró. The prosperous company continues to open Lladró galleries and boutiques all over the world.
