“Lockdown” Mixed Media Painting 4x4 w/ Mini Easel

Quarantine. Pandemic. Lockdown. These terms will haunt us forever. My son is 18 and is autistic. He has suffered so much with the changes & fear of late. In March, we took out our supplies & I asked him what I should paint. He texted me a Covid pic. First I laughed & then I cringed. It’s been the source of such pain. I decided to do it, though, because it’s been so menacing. But it’s also so beautiful. Some things in life are that way. And capturing it seemed like a good reminder of that.
