This is a vintage USSR LFZ Lomonosov Cobalt Blue Porcelain Tea Cup with Saucer Set Of 2. The cobalt blue pattern adds a touch of elegance to your tea time ritual. Made of porcelain material and hand blown by skilled artisans in the Russian Federation, this vintage set captures the essence of the 1980s production style. It has the domestic market Lomonosov blue mark 1960 - 1989, Lomonosov second quality blue mark. Writing above LFZ mark means drawing complexity group. This exact writing means drawing complexity above the 13th group. This pattern has been discontinued. Measurements: Cup measures approximately 3 1/2” in diameter and 3” tall Saucer measures approximately 5 3/4” in diameter Due to the hand painted aspect it is recommended that Lomonosov porcelain be hand washed in warm water with mild detergent. All of my listed Lomonosov Porcelain was purchased in 2001 directly from the Factory in Russia. The pieces are all unused, in new condition, no chips, marks, nits etc. The pieces are new and not copies (which the factory started making in 2005). Most pieces are discontinued and some are very rare. I have seen that the factory is selling through Amazon for some of their pieces. Just be aware that those pieces are copies of the originals. You can tell the copy pieces by the Blue Mark on the bottom, which was put on pieces made after 2005.
