Long Sleeve Formal Tent Dress, Navy Accordion Pleated Loose Vintage Maternity

The ''Tent'' dress was popular in the mid to later 60s. You don't see them much in the world of vintage. Tent dresses had a chest yoke and usually had an inverted pleat in the center under the yoke and lot of volume from there to hem. This dress would be considered a tent dress because of the yoke. Instead of an inverted pleat there are LOTS of knife pleats giving this a LOT of volume. This will fit a range of sizes due to its wonderful drape and flow (model is size 8). It's also something to consider for maternity. Mother of the Bride or Mother of the Groom ceremony? Semi sheer poly chiffon tent dress is from the late 60s by Miss Elliette. Four rhinestone buttons in center of yoke give it some subtle glitz. Back yoke has 3 self fabric buttons, so it slips over head. Wonderful long ''bishop'' sleeves, elastic at wrists. Formal-it-up.
