Your handbag is Capybara hide & cowhide leather, called Capybara in Argentina, and called Carpincho throughout the other South American countries. It reminds one of suede but it is not. Capybara is considered an exotic hide and products produced from these pellets are only exported from Argentina. No other country in the world is licensed to export them.
