Super cool lot of 19 buttons (or badges if you hale from the UK) with the Topps Wacky Monsters from the early 70’s. There was a time when the humor aimed at kids was more sophisticated and intelligent and black and the thought of worrying about “offending someone” wouldn’t even have crossed anybody’s mind. Because the idea of it would be seen as dumbing down your artistic vision and statement and so what, people are supposed to get offended in a country which openly exchanges ideas. You see, back then people weren’t as stupid as they are today. And even better than not being stupid is that they also could take a fucking joke. But not today. Nope. In fact people want to wallow in their stupidity and instead of keeping that stupidity to themselves they want you to wallow in their stupidity too. And that’s the thing about stupid people: they are so stupid they don’t realize just how stupid they are. It’s part of the stupidity. So don’t be stupid. When your coworker gets mad at you because you said the email the new guy in receiving sent sounded retarded and you should never use “that word”. Tell him the only reason why he’s mad at you for using it is because he’s retarded too.
